
I took this picture in one of the back alleys of Golden Gai during my recent visit to Shinjuku. Not a lot going on in this photo, but I like it.
EDIT: Actually, I take that last comment back. I was so busy admiring the lines, angles, and colors in this photo, that I never noticed the writing on the cone until now: 駐輪禁止 (no bicycle parking allowed). That adds a whole new dimension to the photo, humor.

Postscript: March 4th was National Grammar Day in the States. I didn’t even know we had a grammar day until just a few days ago. Anyway, I was checking out their “Top 10 Grammar Tips” when I stumbled upon the following in the section on prepositions:
“You might have memorized list of prepositions when you were in school.”
I’m not going to let it bother me as much when I find typos and such in past postings anymore.
EDIT: Oops! Turns out this is not Golden Gai after all. I was off by a few hundred meters. I wonder what made me initially think this was Golden Gai.
